Anticipated Start Date: 01 June 2018.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The summer student will be responsible for the following:
1. To enable Roots House to be open during the day in the summer months to youth who are temporary residents of Roots House. They will ensure that the rules of the house are being respected and enforced.
2. To conduct outreach activities in the community under the guidance of the Director to educate youth in our community about the services available at PC Roots for Youth. (Drop In Services, Temporary Accommodation, Youth Development programmes, ad hoc workshops, etc.)
3. To assist the Event Coordinator with the planning and implementation of fundraising events that benefit Roots for Youth.
